Britney Spears' daddy is ready to release his daughter into the wild again -- we've learned the conservatorship may be coming to an end.
Sources tell us Jamie Spears will ask the court to review the terms of the conservatorship after her concert tour ends in November. Jamie can't ask the judge to end it -- just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life.
We're told Jamie thinks Britney is ready to roll on her own. He has made her life his full time job since February, 2008.
Fact is ... if it weren't for the tour, given Britney's progress, the judge might already have made the decision to undo the conservatorship. The various vendors were promised under their contracts that the conservatorship would stay in tact throughout the tour.
A little editorial comment ... it may be the most remarkable turnaround we've ever seen. A year and a half ago, people were worried for Britney's life.

While actress Mischa Barton remains under court-ordered psychiatric supervision following a breakdown last week, rumors of what brought about the hospitalization continue to swirl. The latest and most prevalent is that the O.C. star had gone on a three-day cocaine “bender.”
However, a rep for Mischa tells OK! that this just isn’t true.
When reached for comment on Sunday night, Mischa’s rep stated that this story is “completely preposterous” and that there it contains factual errors about the events leading up to the actress being hospitalized.
Of course, if this is true, then the question of Mischa’s “medical situation” is an even bigger mystery than before.

The people have asked, and Rock Band has answered the calling.The folks at Harmonix, MTV, and EA are releasing the Rock Band Country Track Pack on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PS2 in stores tomorrow, July 21. The pack is priced at $29.99 and features 21 songs from the top country artists of yesterday and today. The disc can be played as a standalone game, or using the code to redeem the songs for use in Rock Band and Rock Band 2. The complete track list is below.

An assistant director issues commands to the crowd through a loudspeaker as the scene and the camera moves are repeated several times. Finally director Chris Columbus is satisfied and 250 extras file off the huge soundstage set, still carrying their cocktail glasses.

It is thesp Scott Cooper's helming debut. Cooper also penned the script based on an eponymous novel by Thomas Cobb. Story concerns an aging country singer (Bridges) who finds inspiration through his relationship with a reporter (Gyllenhaal) while dealing with the rise of his younger protege (Farrell). Duvall plays a mentor to Bridges' character.
Set for release in Spring 2010.
Last night at a Toby Keith concert, they were filming another movie "Crazy Heart", starring Jeff Bridges, Colin Farrell, and Robert Duvall. Those in attendance were treated to be a part of the film as they filmed concert footage for the film. The film is about a down-on-his-luck alcoholic country music singer who, through his relationship and experiences with a female reporter, is able to get his life and career back on track. During the filming at the Toby Keith Concert, Colin Farrell and Jeff Bridges got on stage and sang to the audience while scenes were shot. I must say they were not half bad as country singers. I was allowed to bring in a small digital camera and I took pictures and some small videos of the filming.

Tyler Perry, the star, writer and producer of films such as "Madea Goes to Jail" and the television show "House of Payne," could be adding philanthropist to his growing list of credits.
According to his publicist, Perry is sponsoring a Disney World trip for 65 Pennsylvania children at a largely minority day-care center after a swim club canceled pool privileges for the children.
"He wanted to do something nice for them and let them know that for every negative experience, there are people out there who want them to succeed regardless of the color of their skin," said Keleigh Thomas, Perry's publicist. She added the entertainer would be footing the bill for all transportation, hotel, admissions and food costs at the Florida theme park.
When Perry heard about the situation with the children in the highly publicized aftermath of the pool cancellation, he immediately wanted to help them, Thomas told CNN, adding that a trip to Disney World is definitely "better than the pool."
"I am ecstatic for the children," Alethea Wright, director of the Creative Steps day-care center, told CNN. Perry's team extended the offer to her on Friday, she said. The Disney World stay will be from August 1 to 3, according to Perry's Web site.

GELDOF FALLS ASLEEP DURING TV INTERVIEW
British socialite PEACHES GELDOF's wildchild ways are catching up with her - she recently fell asleep halfway through a television interview.
The 20-year-old daughter of Bob Geldof has previously sparked controversy with her party lifestyle and alleged drug-taking, and she stunned a U.K. TV presenter when she started snoozing mid-questioning.
Geldof was being interviewed at the back of a taxi in New York for an upcoming celebrity television show when U.K. host Fearne Cotton asked her a question, only to catch her napping.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "They say there's no rest for the wicked - but that obviously doesn't apply to Peaches. Poor old Fearne was asking her a few questions then noticed she had stopped answering. She looked over and realised that Peaches was fast asleep.
"It was a bit embarrassing for Fearne who immediately thought her questions had bored her so much she had to get some shut-eye."

Nicolas Cage in Talks for The Green Hornet

Columbia Pictures is in early talks with Nicolas Cage to play the gangster villain in The Green Hornet, reports Variety.
Cameron Diaz is negotiating to play a reporter and love interest in the Michel Gondry-directed film(i DID NOT know this. interesting.) that stars Seth Rogen as the masked crime fighter.
The picture is moving full steam ahead for a fall start date, even as the studio looks to replace Stephen Chow, who was going to play sidekick Kato. Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script and Neal Moritz is producing through his Original Films.
The Green Hornet is targeting a July 9, 2010 release

According to a new article published in The Observer, singer Ciara is back in the studio with her "Fantasy Ride" collaborator Justin Timberlake.
The news seems to have slipped out by mistake, since the article actually focused on Ciara's no-show at a recent party for Social Life magazine which she's currently on the cover of. According to the magazines editor Devorah Rose, the reason given for CiCi's absence was "she got an opportunity to go into the recording studio with Justin Timberlake."
Timberlake was behind two songs on Ciara's recent "Fantasy Ride" album, "G Is for Girl (A–Z)" and the worldwide hit "Love Sex Magic".
